Our Setting

Farleigh is set in the heart of the Test Valley of Hampshire, near Andover, in 70 acres of parkland and landscaped woodland where children can be 'free range' in safety just over an hour from London. The school is easily reached via all major routes from London, the South and West, with easily accessible rail links and international airports.

The setting is delightfully rural, with 70 acres of sweeping Hampshire parkland and a landscaped arboretum, yet only five minutes' drive from the A303."

Facilities

The Georgian house, which is the centre of the school, provides a welcoming home for over 450 boys and girls aged 3 to 13. This is particularly important for our approximately 120 boarders and 20 resident staff.

We have recently opened some exceptional new facilities, including a new purpose-built Music School (with a recital hall, 12 practice rooms, recording studio and a ‘rock’ room) and an all-weather pitch, meaning the weather can’t dictate when sport can be played!

We are lucky enough to be able to enjoy modern, well-maintained facilities across the board, including beautifully maintained sports pitches, comfortable teaching rooms equipped with the latest in interactive whiteboard technology; first rate Art and DT facilities; a well-equipped theatre which is home to events and our whole school assemblies as well as frequent productions from the Drama department; a modern indoor pool; and our brand new Dining Room, where the catering team provide delicious food in light, clean and inspiring surroundings. We also enjoy extensive grounds and our own very popular Forest School.

These outstanding facilities combine with a contemporary and dynamic teaching environment that provides our pupils with enormous variety and opportunity wherever they may be.  In the classroom; on the sports pitches; on the stage; it all stands them in good stead for the challenges they will face in a fast-changing world.
