Art Exhibition 2017

This week the Art Department and Dining Hall have been transformed into an art gallery displaying an enormous variety of artwork including scholarship pieces by the Year 8 art scholars; self-portraits by Year 7, British Harbours and seascapes by Year 6, owl collages and opposite colours by Year 5, and blossoms by Year 4.

The Private View on Monday evening was very well received by parents and pupils alike. Not only were they impressed by the exceptional standard of work, but they also took the opportunity to chat to Mrs Maw, Head of Art, and to find out about art scholarships and the work involved from the Year 8 pupils themselves. The exhibition will be on display for the next few days and is well worth a visit.
