Before half-term, fifty-two Farleigh musicians were joined by members of the Winchester Musicals and Opera Society (WMOS) for a high tempo evening celebrating the music of the West End and Broadway. The programme included brilliant solo and duet performances from a variety of hit musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Joseph, Annie, Matilda, Mary Poppins and The Lion King as well as instrumental arrangements performed by three of Farleigh’s ensembles: Brass Works, SaxPack and Wind Octet. The evening culminated in a fantastic Les Miserables medley involving singers from Boys’ Noise and the Girls’ Close Harmony Group with WMOS.
