It was with great joy and excitement that we welcomed Bishop Philip Egan, the Bishop of Portsmouth, to Farleigh to confirm our 40 candidates. After a programme of prayer, reflection and discussion they stepped forward to be "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit".

The Bishop reminded the children that their chosen saints would be there to accompany them on their daily journey and they now have an extra day of celebration - their Saint's Day!
