Carols around the Christmas tree set the tone for the afternoon for the 12 visiting children from Icknield School. Greeted by pupils from Farleigh’s Community Service club, the guests had a wonderful time singing some well-known Christmas songs before the main event – a visit from Father Christmas himself (aka Monsieur Kennard in disguise). Everyone was excited to meet him and needed no encouragement to receive their gifts. After unwrapping presents, it was time for biscuits and a chat with their Farleigh friends, before heading back to school full of festive cheer!
