House Matches

Yesterday’s House matches were entertaining and colourful, as well as a competitive afternoon of sport. In perfect footballing conditions, boys in Years 4, 5, 7 and 8 took part in their House Football matches. Everyone played with great enthusiasm and the House competition always focuses the mind and was therefore a good training competition for what lies ahead. The Year 6 team played in the U11 Football Festival at Sherborne School which was a great opportunity for them to sharpen up their skills for the season ahead.

The Years 4 and 5 girls’ House Netball matches were played with equal enthusiasm and in great spirit, as were the House Hockey matches which saw some closely fought contests. The Years 6, 7 and 8 girls were really competitive, organising their teams excellently to ensure a fair rotation of time on the pitch. It was fantastic to see such encouragement and support from all the children. Well done everyone on your effort and determination.
