Life on the Ark

Fr Simon led a 'whole school' service which included the Pre-Prep, so 440 children aged 4-13 filled the Theatre on Thursday morning. There was much laughter from the young ones as the service included Walt Disney's entertaining 'Father Noah's Ark' from 1933. This was followed by a reminder that "we all belong in the Farleigh Ark"; how we must all take the time and effort to really look after each other in order to make this the happiest school possible.

Following prayers and hymns, the children went out to the Amphitheatre where Miss Redmond, Head of RS, linked every pupil with a 'buddy' from a lower year. The tying of blue and yellow ribbons symbolised their new found friendships and these are now on display on the 'Cage' playground fence as a reminder of the call to be kind and helpful friends.
