Farleigh hosted a mixed doubles tennis match against Twyford on Tuesday and a good time was had by all. Having the Astro, and therefore the use of eight courts for matches, has really illustrated the depth and strength of tennis at Farleigh. The dynamics of girls playing with the boys make good watching and there were some close matches but Farleigh emerged as winners (16-6).

The U11 boys and girls have also started their tennis matches. Playing Chafyn Grove this week, the boys had a fantastic match with three tie break sets in the nine matches played. Freddie Dinan and Alex Williamson-Jones won their three matches, and the boys won by the narrow margin of 5-4. The girls had a comfortable win over the Chafyn girls and as this was their first match, this will really help their confidence.
