Before heading off to their leavers' trip in Devon, our Year 8 pupils received news of their Common Entrance results.
A Farleigh tradition, they gathered together in the sunshine on the Headmaster's Lawn where Fr Simon said a few words before they were each given their results by their form taker. There were shrieks of delight from many as they took in their results. This year, eight boys are going to Sherborne and eight girls to Sherborne Girls; six pupils are off to Marlborough, six girls to Godolphin and five boys to Downside. Two pupils are going to each of the following schools: Bryanston, Frensham Heights, Radley, St Mary's Ascot and St Mary's Calne.
The rest of the year group are going to a wide range of senior schools: Ampleforth, Charterhouse, Cheltenham, Dauntsey's, Downe House, King Edward VI (Southampton), Rookwood, the Royal Hospital School (Ipswich), Runnymede College (Madrid), Stonyhurst and Stowe. Congratulations to them all and we wish them well as they embark on the next exciting stage of their lives.
