We Smashed It!

The Scrambled Eggs came an impressive second out of 29 teams at the Godolphin STEM event - ‘The Great Godolphin Egg Race’.

With only one hour and limited supplies which consisted of: a kitchen roll tube, 50 art straws, three sheets of A3 paper and a roll of Sellotape, the teams had to design a structure that would propel a golf ball through 90 degrees, before travelling a metre to reach a target and smash an egg.

Points were awarded for egg smashing ability, engineering and teamwork. Well done Aless, Elena, Jemima, Noémi and Saffron, we hope you enjoyed your prize of… chocolate eggs of course!
