Our annual Whole School Assembly was centred around butterflies. All the children, from Reception to Year 8, reflected on how, at the beginning of the new school year, we are like the caterpillar who transforms into a lovely butterfly.

The variety and beauty of the colours symbolise the different gifts and talents that we all possess, and how our kindness, love and friendship brings joy and happiness to others, just as the butterflies.

The assembly saw the children joining up with a new buddy, and then they put their butterflies in the hedges outside the amphitheatre for all to see.
