There are approximately 120 boarders at Farleigh where the friendly family atmosphere is one of the school's strengths. The prospect of always having friends around and more time to benefit from the wonderful facilities and opportunities, make boarding a popular option. Many day pupils stay on after school for prep and the many after school activities on offer, including tennis coaching, additional sports, music ensemble practice, LAMDA drama lessons etc.
Living together with their peers strengthens friendships and helps Farleigh pupils to develop confidence, camaraderie, maturity and self-reliance in a safe and nurturing environment. Farleigh boarders have an enhanced level of independence and this is often remarked upon by their senior schools where they settle in well.
Boarding at Farleigh remains successful because of the friendly family atmosphere and the exceptionally warm relationship between staff and children. See what the pupils themselves say in this video.
To discover more, you are warmly invited to our Boarding Open Morning on Saturday 16th May 2026, 11.30am-1.15pm.
