House Cross Country is always such a lovely whole school event. It epitomises the Farleigh spirit and this year was no exception. Before the start, all the children were excited and nervous but they supported each other so well. Whether in the fast group pushing for a Top 10 position or pacing themselves to complete the course, everyone gave of their best. 

This special annual event is split into three races which take place in the woods and tracks around the Farleigh grounds. Years 3 and 4 kick the afternoon off and, with great excitement, sprint the first section of the course! Years 5 and 6 follow on a slightly longer course, with Years 7 and 8 running approximately 2200m. It is a proper test of their endurance and fitness. The children's emotions at completing such a challenge are witnessed on the finish line and we are really proud of all whom took part this year.

Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and friends who came to support this memorable event, which remains one of the highlights in the Farleigh school calendar.
