Round the world to Bethlehem

The whole of Pre-Prep and Kindergarten gathered in the Theatre this week for the uplifting Nativity 2019. Under Mrs Wakeham and Mrs Weager’s direction every child took part in the Christmas play and nativity scene.

We travelled on a journey across the globe with the angels, through Hawaii, Spain, Scotland, the Alps and finally, China looking for the best country for a baby to be born.

Along the way we were treated to some South Pacific dancing, a highland fling and lots of beautiful singing in-between but in the end, the smallest angel showed us that Jesus’ birth place wasn’t as important as the event itself.

“The Pre-Prep staff were delighted with the acting, clear speaking and Teddy Medcalf’s solo and the Kindergarten’s performance of Away in a Manager was also a treat,” Mrs Wilton commented.

It really was the culmination of a hard term’s work and Mrs Wilton has been left feeling very proud of everyone’s efforts. Without doubt it is the ultimate case of a star being born, but we think there were a lot of others on the stage joining in with him at Farleigh, too.
